Printer Sales
Remember when you replaced your appliances because they looked bad? (I still have my parents “old” refrigerator in my garage!) We’ve been sold on the idea that newer is better. Printer manufacturers plan to obsolete themselves EVERY 8-12 MONTHS, sometimes forcing upgrades by discontinuing cartridges for printers going strong. Unfortunately for consumers, the cartridges associated with new printers appear to cost a little less, but hold much less ink/toner. Great for their profits - bad for your price per page!
However, even the printer manufactures are now aggressively selling their own Refurbished Printers – those that have been sent in due to defects during the warranty period. Why? Because they too know once taken apart, cleaned, & parts replaced - refurbished printers perform like new. That’s why we offer refurbished printers backed with our 12-Month Advanced Warranty. That means if your issue is unresolved thru customer service, a replacement printer ships out to you automatically! Not only do you save money and get a quality printer that has the same warranty as a new printer, it’s environmentally friendly! And sometimes – more efficient cartridges!
QUALITY—SAVINGS—RECYCLING – some great reasons to repair and hang on to your “older printers” Since we opened our first store just 3 years ago - cartridge yields (pages per cartridges) have dropped from 833 pages for an HP 45 down to 266 pages for the HP 95! And your price/page (OEM) has gone from 3.6 cents per page to 8.2 cents per page! Doesn’t add up does it? (yields/pricing history) Keep in mind that each cartridge produced uses oil, plastics and of course the manufacturing process. Not Environmentally Friendly! The good news? Yes, there’s some! By refilling these new smaller cartridges, you actually save more each year because you have to buy so many. If you’re roughly a third of the pages you use to get – so you’re forced to buy 3 times the cartridges you use to – by refilling your ink cartridges at Cartridge World, you have the opportunity to save about $100 per year – depending on your printing requirements!
